Nezafet (The hammam near the post office)
This hammam was located on the right side of Vardar, on the opposite of today's Main post office, near the "Arab House". Hadzi Vasiljevic mentions it as the hammam next to the Burmali Mosque. It was known as Nezafet Hamami, which translates as "purity". It is believed to have been built in the late XIX century. In 1914 it was marked as a "modern bathroom". Its modernization, ie. the introduction of showers in one part of the hammam happened probably after 1912.
In the 1963 earthquake, the hammam was badly damaged, then it was fully demolished and the ground where it was located was leveled.
